THERAPEUTIC BODYWORK SHIATSU

60 minute PureShiatsu - Therapeutic Holistic Treatment

Ideal treatment length for most conditions Pure Shiatsu is a form of therapeutic bodywork from Japan. It uses kneading, pressing, soothing, tapping, and stretching techniques and is performed without oils through light, comfortable clothing. Pure Shiatsu session is given fully clothed. Please wear loose clothing and have arms and legs fully covered, e.g. a tracksuit and long sleeved t-shirt. The treatment will be given on a futon by your Asian Physical Therapist or on a Shiatsu table depending on the flexibility of the patient. Generally the whole body is worked with gentle pressure applied with the thumbs along the energy pathways in order to stimulate the correct flow of energy within the body. The treatment can include stretches, rotations and mere holding. After a Shiatsu treatment it is very important to rest or at least not to engage in strenuous activities in order for the work of the session to be fully assimilated. Drink plenty of water. Frequency of sessions: This depends on what you want to achieve and totally up to the individual. I am happy to advise after a couple of treatments.

Fabulous experience like nothing I have had before. It was pressure, manipulation and massage. With cleansing of the toxins and releasing tensions, I feel great. It depends on whether I will feel after effects tomorrow

Once again this fabulous Shiatsu massage has been so helpful. The impact is amazing in relation to wellbeing, mobility and energy! Jean Philippe is respectful, confident and clearly excellent at his craft. My advice? go more than once and gain the benefits of the massages helping to continue progression. Once again a most amazing treatment which has made me feel so much better. Incredibly good value and a lovely caring practitioner. This stand-out treatment is most definitely worth the hour and a half round trip and is leagues above any other shiatsu treatment I‘ve ever had. I highly recommend.

Words cannot explain, firstly I was expecting a professional studio setting but I was welcomed into Jean's home and his loved ones offered kindness hospitality.

Although one is expecting the usual environment for any healthcare or wellbeing service it is often in the unusal unexplained and unexpected that we encounter true change and growth.

Today from this session Jean has helped me to grow mentally in understanding there is a stem that connects to every suffering, and thus, rooted in us internally.

This internal faculty is my mind and how one perceive what is experienced, therefore from here Jean has opened new pathways of thought and now I am not a victim of my thoughts that results in my pain and suffering but rather I am observing and being attentive to that which I choose to experience.

This is not a review for everyone as ego is fractured and thus separated from all other minds and it takes acceptance and responsibility of our suffering and pain to uncover the power we all possess.

Jean is not a miracle worker and am sure he will agree, but he is the interface that facilitates in waking the miracle within ourselves.
